Hi there! I'm Sulaiman, a 42-year-old health coach and yoga practitioner. My mission is to promote clean, cruelty-free food for a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle. Let me share my journey and tell you how this book was born.

My journey to a healthy life started 11 years ago. Back then, my health was on a downhill slide. I had been working night shifts for about seven years, and my diet was filled with junk, meat, and packaged foods. I was only 31 years old, and I could not imagine how my food choices landed me in the hospital. That incident compelled me to research food and its nutritional values, diving into scientific studies, consulting with nutritionists, and experimenting with different diets, all to choose those that are required for my body. Even though I began studying nutrition and learning about the benefits and risks of different foods, I never really understood the full impact of meat consumption.

Fast forward to 2022, and something significant happened. I stumbled upon the harsh realities of animal farming and the health risks associated with meat consumption. This was a wake-up call. I dove into research papers, talked to health experts, and read numerous thought-provoking books on health and the human body. With no more surprise, I decided to go vegan in no time. The transformation was incredible—I felt healthier, more energetic, and clearer-minded than ever. One important lesson I learned is that we usually don't know how our daily food kills us. And believe me, this is alarming!

One more important learning is that it's not about controlling your cravings. It's about developing a consciousness that naturally steers you away from unhealthy choices.

People often tell me I don't look my age, and I feel the same—younger and more vibrant. That's why I decided to write, "Thrive with Plant-Based Living." I wanted to share my journey, debunk myths about vegan diets, and inspire others to change positively. This book will help you understand the profound impact of plant-based food on your health, animal welfare, and our planet.
